As a Consultant and Advisory Board Member to Family Health Choice and a seasoned insurance and healthcare executive with over 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry and delivery systems, bringing Family Health Choice leadership, compliance, and direction to our business development, telemarketing, sales, and marketing teams.

His compliance understanding of a Prepaid Health Clinic Plan, Discount Plan Organization, Limited Health Plans, and Third-Party Administration through The Office of Insurance Regulations, and the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) brings value to the organization.

LIANET GOMEZ

VP Provider Relations and Credentialing

Lianet Gomez, VP Provider Relations and Credentialing of Family Health Choice, has over a decade of extensive experience in healthcare administration, contract management and the development, implementation, and administration of the organization non-counseling–specific credentials, which includes development and application of credentialing and recredentialing policies, standards, and procedures. Her strong organizational, communication, ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, and customer service skills make her an asset in a professional setting. Her ability to solve complex problems, make sound judgments and decisions, and think critically are key strengths that enable her to navigate challenging situations with ease.
Lianet earned a Master of Business Administration in Management from Barry University, and a Bachelor’s in Health Services from Florida International University.

Carlos L. Delgado, MD, Medical Director of Family Health Choice is a distinguished medical profesional with over 50 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Delgado has built a reputation for excellence across various domains of medicine and brings a world of experience to our organization.

Dr. Delgado experience and expertise assures the direction within the organization. The assurance of credentialing medical providers that provide the highest level of quality care to our subscribers, reviewing and implementing quality improvement plans, quality control programs, and risk management programs, ensuring that patients receive quality care and working to improve procedures to achieve the best outcomes, and a leader that help define a vision of quality improvement.

Lauren Penafiel, Chief Operating Officer of Family Health Choice, has over a decade in the healthcare industry, a strong background in operations known for effective communication skills, enhancing efficiency, productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth within large organizations, Lauren brings healthcare leadership experience marked by a successful track record.

Lauren oversees the day-to-day operations of the Organization, including managing finances, quality, physician engagement, ensuring patient care, member satisfaction, and organizations growth.

Carlos Perez, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Family Health Choice, is a highly accomplished healthcare executive who has demonstrated continuous growth, achievements, and impressive leadership in the management of complex activities within the healthcare industry. Solid business insight with the ability to ascertain and analyze needs, forecast goals, streamline operations, and envision new program concepts.

Prior to founding Family Health Choice, over the last three decades, Carlos founded multiple high achieving Managed Service Organizations. These achievements are due to his excellent communication and interpersonal skills that serve as the foundation to effective network, collaborate, negotiate, and maintain positive partnerships with healthcare organizations, physicians, staff, and outside vendors and organizations. Proficient in the management of diverse range of departments, professionals, and programs through a complete understanding of the healthcare arena and integrated networks. Adept at setting, expecting, and achieving high
standards of quality.
